More sockwollen has arrived

There’s always a sense of anticipation when a new parcel of sock wool arrives from Germany.

Spun in Italy for the German market, the colour, pattern and quality of the yarn is the best I’ve found. This particular sock yarn has a high cotton content (39%) and a bit of elastil (7%) for stretch. And the machine loves it, which makes for happy handcranking!
